Pumpkins!
Chrispy and the kids did this pumpkin a while ago like the middle of the month but it started to rot after a short while so we had to throw it out. But it was a vampire! This wasn't my favorite for the obvious, a vampire, but because of the "pose". Makes me smile!
TRUNK 'R TREAT
I did this yesterday for a Trunk 'R Treat. So the way this happened was this: our church/ward had their's on Friday. I felt bummed cuz Chrispy wouldn't be able to go cuz he always got home late and we'd be at the Trunk 'R Treat even later or not at all. So I asked my dear brother and sister-in-law if we could come to theirs, because their's was on Saturday, we even volunteered to be the decorated trunk since we were kinda intruding. Sadly I forgot to take a picture of the decorated trunk, which a lot of people liked and thought was creepy, but we had a Cemetery Pumpkin Patch. My sister and her husband came too and let us borrow a couple of foam tomb stones, we had a couple plastic skulls and bones, fake spiders, and snakes and lit the trunk up with a flashing strobe light.
Chris the Hawk-Eye/Cop/Zombie Hunter (he used my bow as a prop, but looked like a cop and said he was a zombie hunter), Nayeli as Princess Celestia (Llama, I did add the Sun on her hip, clipped on a gold belt around her waist), and Christian as Iron Man (since he saw Avengers there wasn't going back).
This was the light I was going to put on Christian's hands/arms but the duck tape wouldn't hold them to the gloves. But don't worry, we have other uses for them so no wasted money there!
The progress of my costume!
Almost done and dry!
I used 4 and a half bottles of orange glow paint! Good thing I didn't go bigger! And yes, this paint can glow in the dark!
Punkin Farmer Jess! Looks like I'm holding a real pumpkin huh? Just my belly I'm holding!
Got the flannel shirt at Savers and the straw hat from my Pa. And though you can't see them I even wore skeleton earrings to go with my decorated Cemetery Pumpkin Patch trunk.
