Would You Rather...?

After going to a friend's wedding reception we met up with a couple friends and siblings at our house to play the board game- Would You Rather...?

Nearest-Farthest: Ammon (sister's hubby), Chris, Kaleb (sister's baby, in Jessica's arms), and Jessica (my best friend aka Sassy)
Lindsey (my sister) is on the couch and John (Sassy's hubby).
Jon and Sassy. Sadly the popcorn bowl is covering Sassy's baby bump. I'm so excited that she's pregnant!
In the game there are times that you can do a "dare" and this was one of them. John wiped mustard all over his face, and he sung..."I Am a Child of God." It was funny at first then the words drowned the fun, and I felt guilty.
This was the other "dare" Ammon wore a "bra" (or rather a bikini top) for one full turn.
Hope you like the pix Ammon!
I'm just glad they're over the shirt. Oh hey! See the skull on the right side? LOL

CARS

So I go grocery shopping and Chris watches the kids. Or rather puts Ellie in bed and starts to watch CARS with Christian. The movie was still running when I came home, but this is what I came home to. My sleeping babes. Yes even Chris was asleep.

Supers Mall Playground

2 and a half weeks ago (I know I'm very late) Lindsey, my sister, and Liz, my sis-in-law, went to the Superstition Mall and hung out before Liz went back home to San Diego.

Poor Ellie at the beginning she was so alone.
Don't laugh she's practicing her steps.
She's excited.

My pregnant sis-in-law and her two kids, Matthew and Nathan.
Matthew acting like his Mommy.

I can't remember the reason but Liz told Matthew to give Ellie a hug. Ellie took in her arms and kind of shreiked like she didn't want it. It was very funny and random. I've never seen her do that before or since.
In an attempt to suck on Matthew's them Liz made some funny face to get that one shot.
This shot.
Trying to get all the boys up there. L-R: Nathan, Matthew and Christian.
"Following the Leader, the leader, the leader. Following the leader wherever he may go." I think that's a song from the cartoon movie of Peter Pan, but I'm not sure. Front-back: Matthew, Nathan, and Christian. I think Ellie was behind Christian but I didn't catch her in the photo.

Book Help

Okay so most of you know I've been writing a book. However, on our trip in Wisconsin I dreamt of an idea for another book. I am yet again not revealing any clues over the blog in fear of someone taking the idea for themselves.
At first I wasn't sure it was a good idea until I told Chris about it and he said he really liked it. Now I would like a few comments from our "viewers". I would like this question to be considered carefully because it may help with the book.
If you were an animal what do you think you'd be and why?
Don't just give me- "A bear cuz I'm lazy." I need something better than that. Example:
I, Jessica, would be a wolf because in my family I feel I am the dominant female in a pack. In many cases this has showed through my actions. Though I'm sure being a hyena wouldn't be far fetched, but I'm not that dominant toward men. Hush Ammon, I know you're thinking, "Brass knuckles." Just think about your answers. And if you could answer for your kiddos (if you have kiddos) that'd be awesome too. Leave me comments. Love you all!

Last & 10th Wisconsin Day

This is another one of Jackie's and Great-Gma's cute outfits for Ellie. I have to admit my 1st impression of the halter top made me feel uneasy, like those types of tops are for adults and so forth. But after putting it on it fit better than the previous outfit. Plus its very cute. A very good selection as a good-bye outfit for the day we fly home.
One thing the kids loved was being outside. At Great-Gma's house they loved playing with the windows.

So thoughtful looking don't you agree. I like this pic of him a lot.
Button, button, who's got the button?
These aren't very good for family pix with Great-Gma Thompson but with Christian could I axpect any more. *Sigh*

Time to fly home. Christian looking at our plane come in.
As soon as we got off the plane Ellie threw-up. *Sigh* We were picked up by Lindsey, sister, and upon going home we stopped at Wendy's. I have to tell you I kinda missed some fast food after all that homecooking. LOL funny huh, but Chris said the same thing. Visited with Lindsey, Ammon and Kaleb (after we ate) at their house. And so ended our Vacay.

Wisconsin Day 9

The morning of our 9th day also the 2nd to last day Ellie learned that this baby stroller could be moved and Daddy took a picture.
Christian is so very much like his daddy.--->
Can't you tell?
This was one of the cute outfits that Great-Gma Thompson and Gma Jackie bought days before. The embroidery on the chest of her shirt is a floppy butterfly. Sadly I didn't like the outfit becuz the straps kept falling with or without the pacifier, but that's the only reason.

Wisconsin Day 8

Happy Birthday to Jackie!!! Dan, Jackie's hubby or Chris's Dad, sent flowers to her from Alaska. Dan was unable to vsit Wisconsin with Jackie because of surgery from an accident but he was still able to give his wife a beautiful arrangement of flowers for her birthday.
This day however was jumbled into others so I'm unsure of what went on on our seventh day but at the end we shot off four fireworks at Great-Gma's house. I was happy I got these pix instead of just recording. So cool.

When we were leaving Great-Gma's house, Jackie noticed this frog/toad on the porch. I guess he wanted to see the fireworks too. He blends into the ground so well, don't you think?

Wisconsin Day 7

Christian normally just sleeps in his daiper at home. But with Great-Gma and Gma Jackie shopping for clothes for both Nayeli and Christian they bought Christian a couple CARS pj's. These two pix are when I tried to take a picture with him wearing them. I didn't get good shots but they're cute anyway.

Jackie's birthday was the 8th of August. (What's funny is my mother's B-day is the 8th of October.) We went and visited with the Runkel side in Minnesota, and to sort of celebrate her birthday, Carol (Chris's aunt on Dad's side), had a hat just for the occasion. The bottle of liquor is a joke for us Mormons (Jackie and her husband are fairly recent converts) and she pointed to the cap to ensure her husband it was closed.
This is Francis (Chris's dad's brother) who has/had a birthday I didn't hear when but here he is with his own picture of birthday embarressment. Happy Birthday Fran! There you go Jackie no need to feel too blushed.

Wisconsin Day 6

This is Jackie's sister, Pat, holding Jack, Pat's grandson at Great-Gma Thompson's house for yet another "Thanksgiving"-like supper. Good eatin'.
Great-Gma with a tripping Ellie. :)
L-R: Jackie, Ellie, Ellen, Rocky. Ellen and Rocky were the ones we stayed with throughout our trip.
L-R: Pat, Anne (Pat's daughter; Jack's mother) with Jack, Natalie (Anne's daughter 3 & 1/2), Ellie, Jackie.
Anne (the "E" not silent) and I got along very well. Well technically I got along well with all the relatives but having our kids so close together it made me feel better when Christian could play with Natalie and someone around my age. Miss you Anne!!

Wisconsin Day 5

So this day started off quite early for Chris and Christian. Christian got up at 4am (AZ time 2am), why? we don't know. We really wanted him to take a nap sometime in the day but he, as always kept fighting the urge to sleep. Finally we gave up and went to a store close by and bought Children's Benadryl Chewable Dissolving Tablets. We gave it to him the moment we could and started to drive around looking for someplace to eat dinner(lunch). Not even five minutes later this is what happened:

Zonked right out and slept for 3 hours. Boy did he need it. So we eat at "home" aka Rocky and Ellen's.
This was Ellie when we had gotten home. Taking her shoes off. Sigh.
When Christian woke up Chris thought it would be cool to shoot off a couple fireworks. He only shot off one. The Moon Lander, supposedly it was to spin around on the ground. Unexpectedly, it twisted on the ground for a second then shot off FOR the invisible Moon. It left this "C" on the driveway. I thought it was funny since Chris lit it.
Chris had also gotten the safe kind of Poppers that Christian was able to stomp on to pop them all.
This is at Great-Gma Thompson's (Jackie's Mother). Chris was looking at old photos and Ellie sat next to him. I didn't expect them to have mirrored sitting positions.
Any car that Christian could get into he would. Every car no kidding. Half the time he spent in the van we drove just parked playing with nobs, buttons and whatever he could.

These are just pictures I enjoyed taking and though I'm not a professional Photographer, I'd say these are pretty good.
