After weeks of planning I'm finished with Nayeli's Princess Celestia costume!
Finished the wig. Bought the necklace and gold bracelets at Burlington from clearance. Shoes from Payless. Cut the gold crown from glittered foam. Bought the silver crown to glue the gold foam onto it for shape and to keep the crown and wig in place. And purple fake gems for the necklace and gold crown. I considered putting gems on the shoes but decided not to.
I glued the two crowns together then the gem to the gold one. Glued the gem to the necklace. Glued the air-dry clay ears to the wig. Glued the air-dry clay horn to the crown with the help of white foam. Glued the crown to the wig.
Nayeli was willing to put everything on to make sure that everything worked. I think I'll have to do something with the wig so it doesn't split like it shows above.
But I think she likes it despite her lack of smiles.

I think it looks great, although if someone (like me) is unfamiliar with the actual character, she just looks like a white pegasus/unicorn ... which is still pretty cool!
