Halloween is coming up!
And I have already started planning preparations for it. Well, just the costumes really. And probably a good thing too!
Chrispy wants to be a Zombie Hunter and be able to use his gear that he's bought.
I am going to be a pumpkin, or my tummy will be.
Christian wants to be Aang from Avatar: The Last Airbender (picture below)
We still have to buy Christian's costume. Unfortunately I'm am not skilled enough to make the animated shows clothes and will have to deal with the movie version. We will not be shaving his head but give him a close buzz with the clippers and put a blue arrow on his head/neck.
Nayeli wants to be Princess Celestia (the white-winged unicorn in pic below) from the new My Little Pony.
This is the progress so far...
Multicolored yarn wig (not yet finished) and I do realize the colors are very light but too late now.
White dress to which I'll add a sun on the hip.
Clay-made ears and horn which I'll glue to a head band or something.
I also have gold shoes and white wings.
I plan to paint Nayeli's fingernails gold and make the gold crown and maybe necklace.
I'm probably doing too much for this but I like a challenge now and then.
