May 1st has come and gone but it was definitely a good day!
The day didn't start out all that great with Chris helping a friend move some stuff, but apparently that friend really needed it, so it's all good. Then I got to hang out with Lindsey who took me to some places with birthday freebies! Awesome! We started at Denny's but all they give is the grand slam for free and Linds and I needed a light lunch since dinner was so close. So we ate a club sandwich with fries at JB's. They don't usually let people share a birthday meal but they let us for once.
We left JB's and left for Krispy Creme for my free dozen of glazed donuts (which I didn't get to eat one till only 4 were left-this morning!). And for our last trip of freebies we went to Bahama Bucks (I haven't been in one of those since Dad worked on one of their AC's-long time ago) and I got a strawberry margarita and mango icee mix. Good stuff! After that we went to Lindsey's house to drop off Ammon's icee and talked for a bit, then she dropped me off. So fun!
Around 6 o'clock, Chris, Christian, Nayeli and I left for Matta's (preordered first), picked up our food, then left for Falcon Field Park. Chris and I ate a little before the kids got anxious to run around. Here are a few pics:
After 10 mins of walking about the fence we walked to the playground where a couple of groups met up, one being a girl scout troup. The kids played, we watched. Ellie fell off the big swirl of a slide so that was a bummer- she was fine, no scratches but she did get a taste of dirt. Around 8 o'clock we left cuz the girl scout troup was done singing songs and what not and we didn't feel it best to be in that confusion.
We got home, fed the kids, bathed them and put them to bed. Around 10pm Ammon came over to guy talk with Chris and I left for a late girls night at Dos Gringos. Not my usual seeting but they had pool tables.
