After "naptime" and before our playdate at our house, I grabbed the kids from their rooms, thinking it's fairly warm in here (I usually have their fans going). I try to turn on the lights in both kids' rooms and nothing happened. Strange right? I decided I'd call Chris or my Dad to help me figure out the words in the electric box later. After the playdate, I put Ellie back to bed cuz she was being a snot and Christian watched Kung Fu Panda I called Chris then my Dad, getting the rooms back on.
That night around 10pm Chris was putting Christian to bed (don't ask why so late), and Christian pointed to the electrical socket and said, "Money."
Chris tried to pull out the nite-light and it sparked, tripping the wires to both rooms again. Apparently Christian put a nickel into the socket, almost causing a fire. I can't tell you how many times I've said don't give him money. Anyway, Christian has obviously not learned from his 1st encounter with putting metal things into the sockets. *Sigh*
I constantly thank the Lord that it didn't start a fire! I hope this doesn't happen anymore, nor to anyone!

WOW that's scary! So glad no one was hurt and you found the problem. That could have gotten out of hand very quickly.
It's stuff like that that freaks me out about not using a baby monitor. All the "what if's". Scares me. So happy everyone's ok!
Holy Moly! That is so scary. I'm so glad that you are all ok and nothing serious happened. PHEW!!
