35 Weeks

5 more weeks left
...
And not even close to being fully ready for her.
Yes we have pretty much everything we need, I can't think of anything else we need, just getting rid of stuff we don't use and organizing the rest. Not so easy during Christmas...and being huge...and having a husband that works late. How do military wives do it?! At least with Christian I had till February. I don't really have that option this time. But oh well, maybe when she is here she'll encourage more organizing. Ha ha!
Anyway...
Tehya has been reminding me of what it was like with Nayeli. She's been pushing, prodding, stretching, and what feels like digging herself out. I can now understand my sister-in-law's phrase of "squishing his head whenever I sit or bend" only I'd say her head not his head. She has even made me nauseated with all her gymnastics, and she just LOVES doing stunts on my bladder.
So in evaluating Tehya's in-womb personality I think she'll be like Nayeli in the fact that she won't like to be swaddled. She'll like to cuddle later in life like Nayeli, but not so as an infant. I also think Tehya will be one to spit up a lot. So I should really look into getting more burp cloths now that I think on it.
There are a few things I hope for with Tehya though. Of course it's that she's a healthy baby with all toes, fingers and face. But I would like a dark haired child instead of the mousey brown that Christian and Nayeli have. I know we won't know for a while on that, but I hope for it anyway. I also hope that hair is full on top. Unlike Nayeli who looked like an old man or as I put it, a bishop's hairdo, barely there on top and thicker on the sides of the head.
We'll have to see....
This week I go into see the doctor and probably have more to tell on our situation. Plus I'll be going in every week after that. It's down to the finish but we're still far from the winning line.
