About a week back we got a fire pit that was simple enough that we could use for destroying old mail and roasting marshmellows. Here are a few of the many pix I took. Mostly I took pictures of the fire which was really cool to catch in a pic.

The wolf spider that the kids found, I shot, and Chrispy killed. It was a fast and creepy little bugger!

I love watching the fiery embers. It's like red glowing water. Kinda hypnotizing too.

Great fire pics, but seriously ... the spider one totally reminded me of the "one of these things is not like the other" bit from Sesame Street!
