1st Day Of Preshool

Christian woke up about a half hour before we were to get up. Chris gave him his V.Reader to pass the time until we actually got up. Then when I got up I ate and during that time Chris got him up and we had Christian eat.
When Chris had come down he told me, "I got the day off."
He originally had Tuesday off for his birthday but since it was Christian's first day at school he called to see if he could get Monday off too. I thought the possibility of him getting the day off was a long shot.
So when I heard him say he had the day off, my reaction was genuine. "What?!" I exclaimed.
"Yeah, I gave them a call and asked if I could get the day off because it's my son first day of preschool and they said I could," Chris said. "I didn't even have to call back."
In pure shock I laughed, "Yeah that's partly why I'm so shocked. Yay, Daddy's got the day off!"
After breakfast I go get cleaned up for the day. When I'm ready we found out Nayeli had thrown up. Poor girl. We get her showered and took care of the sheets. Thankfully we knew it'd only be a 12-24 hour bug. She was able to drink juice and handled being in the car with no problem.
Christian wasn't in a good mood. So we pretty much argued to school. We got to the school the traffic was a a bit much since there's only one way in and out of that school. Ugh, but we got to the side of the school where his pick up/drop off spot without too much problem.
The problem came when we parked behind the preschool bus. Chris and I argued whether I should stay parked behind the bus or park in a car slot. At first I just parked behind the bus and had Chris get out with Christian to get to his classroom. Silly me, I'd forgotten to tell Chris where the classroom was and even more than that I didn't know that we could've just waited for the teacher to come out and get him at a certain time. Next to the door where Christian was supposed to go through it said that they open the door at 8:48am and go into the classroom at 8:53am.
After Chris and Christian get out they were let in the side door by a lady coming out and not knowing where he was supposed to go they kept going passed the classroom. I was in the car and finally decided to park in a official spot feeling something wasn't quite right. I walk up to the door with Nayeli and can't find Chris or Christian, wondering where they went, especially when the side doors were locked. Then I found and read the little paper refering to preschoolers. Feeling like an idiot I wait till another teacher comes out for the children in the bus and I ask her where Ms Andi (his teacher) was. Come to find out that she went to the office for a student. Low and behold it was Christian. LOL
Though Christian did not want to stay with her at the moment we were leaving that morning, I went back there to pick him up and he did not want to go home. I think he had fun.
However today he was struck with the 12-24 hour throw up bug so he didn't go on his second day but he should be there tomorrow. After he threw up the second time he wanted to go to school but after throwing up a third time we kept him home. Thankfully I was able to tell Ms Andi without any problems.
On to tomorrow!!!
