I grab Nayeli to put her down for a nap. She yells and kicks as I carry her to the half-way point up the stairs. I strip her of her jeans to change her diaper.
She says, "Mommy, baffroom!"
I look at her, thinking she just wants to stay up longer but I'll let her if she'll stop her whining.
I say, "You need to go potty Ellie?"
She says, "Yeth." She has a very cute lisp.
"Okay," I say, "Let's go potty!"
I pull off her diaper and she climbs the rest of the stairs and walks over to the bathroom. I set her on the toilet, still thinking she'll sit there for some odd minutes and I'll put her to bed. Minutes later though she didn't go #1 but #2! I'll allow it!!
After she went, I made sure she was clean and she went to bed without a fuss. My little girl is growing up. Soon Nayeli will be out of diapers and that'll be two out of two kids out of diapers.
"Hee hee hee!!!" I say.
