Christian is officially registered for school and will start preschool Jan 3rd.
He even got to meet Ms Andi, his teacher.
We- Nayeli, Christian and I- went into the school and as we stepped up to the office counter, Ms Andi stepped in the the hall where we were. Heavenly Father plans down to the wire!!! LOL As I got the rest of the paperwork settled for the school, Ms Andi asked if Christian wanted to see the classroom. Surprisingly he let go of my hand and grabbed hers without complaint and followed her to the room.
As I watch him walking down the hallway, all I could think is my son is growing up. I didn't tear up, thankfully, but I knew they'd be right back. On his first day though I don't know how I'll do, I may need Chris for that.
When they returned I could hear Christian's protests from down the hall. I groaned, thinking- what happened now? He wanted to stay and play in the classroom. Yay-ish! He also seemed to like Ms Andi too so big pluses. He may not be like this when school starts, especially when a schedule is placed, but that is the point of this. Christian needs more structure with people who know how to do it.
YAY He's in school!

I think Christian will do very well in school. Sometimes they just need to be with people other than family to really blossom. Just remember he may need time to adjust, so don't make any hasty decisions. We support you, Jess!
Those are very good signs! It's awesome he was able to go with the teacher without you and then he didn't want to leave. I think he will do so well!
