O Holy Night
by Josh Groban
I know Josh Groban wasn't the first to sing this nor do I like his version better than hearing my father sing it. However, some versions of "O Holy Night" may be different and I don't have sheet music to compare so I looked Josh Groban's and since Christmas is offically less than a week away this is today's quote:
O holy night!
The stars are brightly shining.
It is the night
Of the dear Savior's birth!
Long lay the world in sin and error pining
Till he appear'd and the soul felt His worth.
A thrill of hope
The weary world rejoices,
For yonder breaks
A new and glorious morn!
Fall on your knees,
Oh hear the angel voices;
Oh night divine,
Oh night when Christ was born,
Oh night divine, Oh night , Oh night divine.
Chains shall He break
For the slave is our brother,
And in His name all oppression shall cease.
Sweet hymns of joy
In grateful chorus raise we,
Let all within us praise His holy name.
Christ is the Lord, let ever ever praise Thee
Noël, Noël
Oh night, Oh night divine,
Noël, Noël
Oh night, Oh night divine.Noël, Noël
Oh, Oh night, Oh night divine
In case I don't see you- good afternoon, good evening and Merry Christmas!!
