Sunday Quote

Sorry this one is so late but I forgot on Sunday and with posting everything yesterday (including the birthday video that hasn't been posted since it's taking over an hour to load) I just hadn't gotten to it.

Okay! This quote is from one of my family favorites. It's a movie and has been done as a musical.
The Scarlet Pimpernel

As far as I can tell I'm quoting the movie only; since I have not seen the musical. I chose this quote because Percy makes sly remarks to Chauvelin throughout the entire movie. In the end it was one way that Chauvelin could have noticed he was being set up. Irony.

"I'm surprised my dear Chauvelin, that you didn't notice they're real fit in uniforms. But then fashion never was your forte. Was it?"

If you haven't seen this movie, I definitely suggest it; the 1982 version with Jane Seymour, Anthony Andrews and Ian McKellen

Actually, the quote is, "You didn't notice their ill-fitting uniforms ... " But still, one of the best lines in the movie.

Another good one from the same scene is, "Oh, the English! And their STUPID sense of fair play!"

And if you ever get a chance to see the musical, GO SEE IT! It's absolutely my favorite musical to date ... although Wicked is a very close second.

That is a good part of the movie... full of funny Britishness! And I agree, the musical is even better than that movie, if that's possible!
