Midnite Showing

Last night was the opening night for The Twilight Saga: New Moon, as some of you knew. I went with two of my girl friends. Last night as I drove to the theatre over near us on Signal Butte and Baseline, I received a few messages from family which I thought was cool. Thank you! When I pulled into the parking lot, my friends had been there a minute before and we walked together into the Gateway Imax, straight into theatre 12. We didn't have to wait at all!!! SO AWESOME!!! I had brought our portable dvd player and Twilight, the first movie and we watched that while we waited from 9:30-11pm after the movie we made a run for the bathroom then talked till New Moon started. I can't tell you how many times we saw their Sprint advertisement saying to turn off our phones before the previews started. LOL
Anyway, my general rating on New Moon is.....drum roll......
IT WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!
I'm so glad I went needless to say. 3 times better than Twilight. There's more action, more emotion, and moreover better! I can't wait to see it again and I can't wait to own it on DVD!!!

So glad you had a good time! I guess I'll have to look into this Twilight thing ... my students think I'm living under a rock because I haven't seen the first movie or read any of the books.

I definitely have to agree that this was much better than the first movie. Actually the only problem I have with the second movie is that you have to watch the first movie to get to the second movie. HAHA I especially liked that I am still a Jacob fan after having watched it. They didn't ruin that for me. Anyway, it made me want to read them all over again. Good stuff!

SOOOO glad that you had a good time! We all should be a little obsessed with what we love. Plus, it is good to get some "girl time" in and just do something for ourselves.

And Alana - It is ok that you live under a rock...at least from your student's perspective. Helps keep some distance.
