This past Tuesday or Wednesday night I was fed up with Christian not going #2 in the toilet when he'd go when he would go #1. So we played the last card we had. After a bath I dried Christian off sat him on the toilet and said that he couldn't have Daddy or go to bed till he went #2 in the toilet. After an hour of me reading a book and Christian bawling I finally kept asking him why he wouldn't, or what was he afraid of, and telling him it was okay. After some minutes of that he told me he needed to go #2 but I needed to hold on to him. For all the crying that he did I didn't see a reason why I couldn't as long as he went.
He went.
As soon as he finished his face brightened and he said, "Now I get Daddy!"
Daddy was there and said, "Yes you do Christian!"
Chris, despite already putting Nayeli to bed already that night, took his son into Christian's room for bed. Christian still went #2 in his pull-up the next morning but I slept in so that was partly my bad. But Christian has gone #2 in the toilet since that night. YAY!
I only hope that with Chris going back to work this next Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday or the Preschool won't make him backflip into going #1 and 2 in his underwear. For the next couple days I think I'll be giving candy or gum to Christian if he keeps this up!

Sometimes you just need to find the right incentive! Hooray for Christian!
