Today at Church we were talking about being examples to others. One older lady said (and this is as close to what she said as I can remember, but do know she said it better than what I've typed)-
"Three years ago I asked my granddaughter, 'What makes you so pretty?' My granddaughter said, 'My blonde hair and blue eyes.' And I tell her, 'Nope, it's your heart. If you have a pretty heart, you are beautiful. If you don't have a pretty heart, only the outside looks pretty.' And now three years later she tells me, 'Grandma, we have pretty hearts!'"
