You know the saying, "If you want to make God laugh, tell him your plans?"
I don't recall saying this aloud but I guess my inner thoughts were screaming up to heaven cuz I am now unable to do any working out for maybe a week or so.
Since Chris and I had a couple of days off almost every week for this last month, I decided I should get my butt in gear and work out everyday that's assigned. Tuesday, I must have worked out a little too much. At night my back started to hurt when I breathed, I asked Chris for a massage thinking I'll be fine by morning. Yesterday, my back felt fine but a pulling ache in the back of my left knee had started. I did a short workout that concentrated mostly on abs. There was some cardio leg work at the beginning to give a warm up. Either that was too much or I did too much during that part of the workout because now if I straighten my left leg while standing a shot of pain run through my veins like someone kicked the back of my knee. Fun stuff. Funny thing is that I can straighten it while I'm laying down. No problem. Grrr so frustrating!!!
So I guess I will be walking limply and won't be working out for a bit. *Tear*

So, it's probably the weight on the knee, rather than the straightening that's hurting you. Poor Jess!
Oh that stinks! Just remember to have a healthy body (that's the real reason to workout...right?) and do something everyday. But be good to that body...AND return to workouts with a happy body. Don't let your brain do to much talking out of it tho..

It's funny... all of those pains you described I experienced this week too, but not for any good reason like working out... just cuz I'm fat and old and clean up after kids and their silly parents all day. Keep up the alternative stuff, then you won't feel so overwhelmed when you can finally get back on track!
