Ellie's 1st Birthday

The theme for Ellie's birthday party was kind of around flowers and butterflies. Can you see the butterflies in the vase?
Pretty fake flowers. I hope I did I good job with arranging them.
Some presents for Nayeli. Plates, napkins, and cups ready to be used.
Nayeli's scrapbooked photo album. If you want to see inside it then just ask. I can take pictures of the inside but I didn't want to fit it into the long line of pics of her b-day party.
These individual cakes are made with a pan that looks like it would hold cupcakes but the middles of the bottom are rounded almost like a miny bundt so people can put whatever they wanted into the cupped cakes. No pun intended. :)
From L-R: Hubby (Topher), Nayeli, Pilar (Topher's sis-in-law), Chris (brother), Alana
L-R: Tyler, Joe (Topher's brother, Pilar's husband), Torry, Tasha.
Sorry for the fuzzy pic. L-R: Alana, Lindsey, Kelli.
L-R: Gma Lynne Reed, Chris, Gpa Lelon Reed
I didn't want to out a traditional candle on so with whipped cream I put a 1 on her personal cake.
I promise there are more pix of her stuffing her face I guess I forgot to shove them in. Those big pieces she literally gobbled up whole. I had to quickly give her milk, she almost choked.
She ate all of her cake, minus a few crumbs. I think she loved it. Afterward I took her upstairs for a short bath to clean her off.
I think everyone enjoyed the fact that they had their own cakes instead of guessing what piece they'll have. Made mine and Chris's life easier that's for sure. We had chocolate and vanilla yogurt ice cream, whipped cream, sprinkles, and fresh strawberries for topping the cakes.
Alana and her daughter, Mia. Waiting in line for cake.
After giving her a quick bath it was time for presents.

Thank you ALL for her presents!!!
Gma with the newest addition on my side, Kaleb Teller.
Balloons were a big hit, both young and younger.

Static cling. I think Christian was surprised to see Mia's hair like that.

I feel we kind of tortured Mia a little bit with the balloons. This balloon stuck to her for a while.

Love the balloon pictures...Alana's was my favorite. We really have some goobers in the fam. Nayeli fits in perfectly! And the cake idea was awesome! Totally wish I had one with some of that chocolate ice cream. Sounds really yummy.

Yeah, that cake was a GENIUS idea ... and very tasty!

The balloons were fun, but then again, it's always fun to get together with the fam and all the grandkids. Just watching them provides loads of entertainment!

It was a very fun day!! The chocolate ice cream was REALLY good and so were the cakes.. even as leftovers, they were very good (thanks). And btw, that picture of mom with Kaleb makes him look even bigger than normal.
