I will quote my sister, "Don't piss her off."
Cuz Sunday, June 14th, Topher made a BAD move.
We have snickers and reese's fast bar minis. Should be good enough to satisfy any two yr old's sweet tooth right? Of course. Now I had bought some slim fast meal bars and snack bars so it'd be easier on me with my own sweet tooth. I ate one when I was around Topher to satisfy me from eating more...apparently that was a bad idea. Even though they are in plain sight anyway.
We start to give Christian and Nayeli a bath Sunday night and Christian brings out a soggy chocolate bar from the tub. My 1st thought was what is he doing putting a reeses/snickers bar in the tub. Then I looked closer and it looked familiar. I gave Topher a "Warning I Will Hurt You Look" and asked sternly, "Is that one of my slim fast bars?" Topher looks around trying to avoid my eyes but says, "Yes."
I punched him on the arm and yelled, "Those are for ME to lose weight not you not him (Christian) and not her (Nayeli)!!!" Needless to say I wasn't happy for a while.
I'm not telling this too be mad at Topher, but just to get it off my chest and out of my head. And husbands please understand that we need help with losing weight. Its hard enough with your Snicker bars and your potato chips in the kitchen, you off at work sweating off all your calories while we stay home where this food is at our disposal. It may sound like a simple breeze to you but for us it's a hurricane.
I hope I don't offend anyone by sharing this on our blog.

I've never had any success at losing weight until Eric decided to do it with me. We've each lost 20 lbs thus far, and I think it's because we're doing it together.
I hear you, loud and clear!
I would have to agree!!! Your snack bar should just be for you...not for the kids.
But you are right about the food being around us ALL day...when the hubby is busy elsewhere. They don't have a choice staring at them from the next room.
