So I wanted to have Chris home on my birthday on Friday right? It was a long shot considering he's like one of the best delivery drivers they have, but I still wanted it.
Sadly so did the flu. Chris came home Thursday night with one of the worst kind of flu. Diarrhea and throwing up. Not exactly what I meant when I said I wanted Chris home.
*SIGH*
But he was home all day Friday with me and the kids. Poor hubby.
Saturday night we decided to head out to Tempe because Chris wanted to get my Birthday present from out there. Not knowing my destination I drove with Chris no longer feeling queezy but still having the other problem, and the kids. We get to Frys Electronics near Arizona Mills and I got a Wii with 9 games (8 were practically free, wow huh?). From Frys we thought going to IHOP would be an awesome place to eat dinner.
On the way over Christian kept saying "it hurts" indicating his tummy. Chris and I started to debate whether or not to go to IHOP but we went there anyway. We got to IHOP, the one close to us, I get out of the car, open Christian's door and Christian just yelled, "I want Daddy!" So I said, "fine sheesh." Chris and I stared at each other like "what is going on". We took the kids out Chris having Christian and I have Nayeli in the car seat, we get half way to the IHOP door and I hear Chris say, " Oh whoa." I look behind me and see Christian had thrown up.
Chris had to take all of Christian's clothing off and his own shirts, and needless to say we headed home, stopping by Walgreens to pick up flu remedies for Chris and Christian.
Christian threw up one more time after we got home and Sunday morning it was as if Christian had never been sick. We stayed home just in case though.
And Sunday night we're hanging with the fam and I see Nayeli had really soiled her daiper and thanks to Llama and Eric we had wipes and a second outfit for her. I'll be watching the kids very closely and myself to watch out for any more signs of the flu.
And so the Flu season starts watch out for it- diarrhea and then vomiting.
And so long 23rd Birthday.
