It has felt like forever to me since the last time I blogged. LOL But anyway, today's quote comes from one of my favorite comics that used to be in newspapers and now they can be bought in books. This is from "The Indispensable CALVIN and HOBBES" by Bill Waterson.
I found a couple of the books at Borders Books and since I loved them as a kid I had to buy them. :)
This is what kids must go through when something doesn't work-
"What a rip-off! I ate all that cereal, waited weeks and weeks to get the beanie, assembled it myself, and the dumb thing doesn't even fly!
At least it's not a TOTAL loss it came in this great cardboard box."
And for good measure Hobbes says-
"Oh, boy! Now we'll have some fun!"

I just realized how much Christian and Calvin have in common. They both hav that crazy up-turned hair and a sneaky devious little mind! Maybe that's why you like Calvin so much!;-) My favorite of Calvin's comics is when he imagines he is a Dinosaur in the middle of school then he snarls in class, realizes where he is and bashcully says, "Hehe, sinus congestion." Bill Watterson is a genius!!
